To feel fully immersed in the spa experience, take time to create a space of tranquillity with a few simple steps.
Dim the lighting and use aromatic candles for a cosy, comforting atmosphere. Choose aromatics such as chamomile and lavender to help settle your mind.
Choose a calming playlist, avoiding anything too stimulating or distracting. Alternatively, an audio book is perfect for a blissful escape.
Prepare your skin by gently removing dry, dead skin cells that may cause blemishes and dullness. Effective preparation and cleansing will ensure the products you apply will work at maximum levels.
Step1 : Massage SkinSense Gentle Cleansing Balm slowly into your skin allowing the soft, nourishing balm to melt into a lightweight oil. Skin soothing ingredients remove dirt and impurities without disrupting the skin’s natural PH balance, delivering comfort to even the most sensitive skin. Use slow, circular motions working from the centre of your face out towards your hairline and ears and down onto your neck. For added benefits, leave the cleanser on your face for a few minutes whilst you prep your body, then rinse away in warm water with a soft cotton cloth.
Step 2 : Apply the Hydranet Body Scrub to dry skin before you soak in the bath or shower. Work from the ankles up towards your heart to stimulate your circulation, bringing fresh blood to the surface which helps get your skin’s glow and vitality back. Massage with light pressure to allow the gentle apricot and olive stone grains to buff away dry skin and focus on areas like the knees and elbows.
Step 4 : Soak in a warm bath allowing the warm water to cocoon around your shoulders and up to the nape of your neck to release tension and fatigue. For added benefits, add a few drops of the SkinSense Nourishing Facial Oil to your bath and breathe in the aromatic essential oils. The steam will help to clear congestion from your pores, allowing your treatment mask to absorb deeper whilst deep inhalation will help to clear head congestion and aid relaxation.
Step 5 : After a few moments, apply the SkinSense Sink in Hydration Mask. The refreshing texture transforms from a light, fluffy consistency to a luxurious, comforting cream which sinks into the areas which need hydration the most. Apply generously using the soft brush, ensuring the mask’s hydration reaches the contours of your face, neck and décolleté. Lie back and relax allowing the ingredients to penetrate into the skin.
Remove your face mask with a cotton cloth soaked in clean, warm water. Avoid using hot water when cleansing as it can cause redness and irritation.
Step 6 : Pat your skin dry and whilst still warm, massage in a few drops of the SkinSense Nourishing Facial Oil. Take a couple of seconds to breathe in the aromatics with your eyes closed. Sweep across your forehead using the palms of your hands, working from the centre to your temples, repeat slowly with gentle pressure to aid lymphatic drainage. Press lightly onto your brows and lift as you sweep your fingers out. Place your hands in a prayer position in front of your nose and then sweep across your cheeks, then using your hands in a soft claw, apply from your chin to your ears. With a flat hand, sweep in downward motions from your ears to your clavicle.
Step 7 : Finally, apply the SkinSense Toning Body Cream using the same technique as the scrub, working from the ankles towards the heart. Lie down for a few moments with your ankles raised to support lymphatic drainage.
